Betfair’s International business will overtake UK business

Betfair Cheif Executive David Yu predicted that their overseas business will overtake the UK business in the next 12 months. This shift in the balance is having a major effect UK horse racing which only equates to about 50% of the business and that percentage is likely to drop further if the current trend continues.
Since setting up my trading club “The X-Club” in November 2007 I have mentored Betfair traders from all over the world and I would say that more than 30% of all my clients have been non UK resisdents.
My International clients have changed the dynamics of the club as they have very little interest in the UK horse racing, this has lead me to focus more on sports trading during 2009, than in the previous year.
With over 650,000 active users, the future is healthy both for Betfair and for the services that I offer at Pro X Trading
