Racing UK Charges are they fair?

From Sunday August 16th your screens will go blank unless you pay £20 a month to keep up subscription of live racing pictures from most of Britains top racecourses.

But are these subscription fees fair?

To me they seem a bit excessive given the amount I was paying for the Setanta package, but I thought that was a bonus as I have been a customer of Racing Uk for a number of years. When they became part of the Setanta package went down and still recieved all the benefits of the Racing Uk club. I havent really made the most of the free race days as I have a young daughter, but I have done in the past.

Racing UK have set the price at the same price when the channel was launhced in 2004 and I was happy to pay that price then, why should it be any different now. I think the major difference is that you have to pay an additional £9 a month for the ESPN package to obtain a similar level of sports as last year on Setanta.

As I full-time trader I just class it as tools for the job, but I will certainly be taking the advantage of the Victir Chanlder offer to subscribers of a £20 free bet a month. I am happy to break even or better with 10 £5 bets and seek a good value bet over evens with the free bet each month.
