After well over a year in the club I have seen its rapid development. Mostly thanks to Matt and the hours he clocks in for the benefit of us members, but more recently also due to the knowledge shared among the members in the club community.

The community of traders is actually the first thing I think of when talking about X-Club. I think of our pre-match conference chats. I think of the club discussion forum. I think of having Matt online most of the time for immediate advice. I think of our trading jargon established by the systems Matt has developed. Given the amount of expertise shared in the community I think all this is pretty unique.

Second, I think of how I've developed as a trader over my membership here at X-Club. The way I think about trades has expanded beyond what I was able to imagine. This is something that takes time. You will not be able to jump in, absorb all the knowledge in a month and quit. X-Club is not a quick fix but rather the right medication (though it also is a major boost right off the bat). For myself, it's been a slow but steady process and it still continues. Increased knowledge of markets and market players certainly has given more edge and confidence to allow for more diverse portfolio of trading tools. In a nutshell all this means that you see more opportunities for profit in each market and have greater success rate when choosing to open a position.

But the thing I like most? No one is holding your hand here (unless you really want to...). Growth and learning happens by taking responsibility of yourself, not relying on exact bets provided by others. To paraphrase an old cliché, X-Club leads you to water but can't make you drink. The threshold to "drinking", however, is made extremely low and suits ANY level of competence.

What more can you ask for? If I were you, I'd join ASAP. But then again, you need to make that decision yourself. Given my knowledge, I definitely would invest in this "market".

As a new recruit I felt I had little to offer in return, the skills of fellow traders are so diverse as to their background whilst they are all united by a single goal, to learn and to share. Soon enough I was able to understand the discussions and contribute myself.

Do I feel the xclub has helped me? – I would answer that emphatically hell yeah! The community has literally transformed me as a trader and also developed me as a person. It is true that there is strength in numbers and the confidence in trading that this gave me was immense – friendly reassurance is never more than a ping away.

I’m not going to say that it has been easy as it requires a level of commitment and desire for what we are all learning – however the freedom that the full time trader has in their lifestyle and flexibility with their time and a brighter future that is to what we all aspire to. Or that the act of trading itself is easy, although technically relatively simple the psychology of a trader is littered with pitfalls and it is another side which the community helps with.

To introduce Matt, the visionary leader of the pack and mentor to us all, every day I am staggered with his sheer volume of knowledge and experience, guiding us on our journeys but also his openness and commitment to all of us as a person.

I know that I am learning every single day and I am proud to be part of this community, I remember my approach, my thoughts, my doubts from before joining and now there are distant belief’s from my thought process and level of awareness now. I know that tomorrow I will be better then than I was today that is truly exciting.

If like me you were hesitating, wondering if this was true opportunity and not another “I made XX in XX and you can too” scheme then please take my word for it that this is the real deal, my regret was not finding it earlier and that is the only one.

Almost a year after joining the club my only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner.  Having endured the highs and lows of gambling on the horses I had decided that a change was in order to smooth out the profit and loss account.

I looked at various trading websites and was eventually directed to this one by another member, who plans to go full-time later this year. From the outset it is made clear there are no quick fixes or easy routes to profit but with time and effort you could build a significant income stream with fulltime trading for some being the ultimate goal.

I was surprised and relieved from the outset by the level of expertise within the club with a number of fulltime traders already operating there and with others well on the way to becoming fulltime.  The time that Matt spends online advising and directing is incredible, his commitment to you being all the greater when you show commitment to the club by getting involved.

The strategies outlined by Matt give you a fantastic grounding in sports event trading but it’s the pre-event and in-play online discussions which have extended my knowledge beyond belief in the time I have been with the club.  It’s this involvement that helps identify new opportunities that are constantly evolving within the club.

Further opportunities arise when you become involved with the various reports (X-reports) and horse racing advice (X- movers, X-markets and X-automation) which not only point you in the right direction but also increase your own knowledge of the markets.  This helps your own decision making but also allows you to spot further opportunities in other markets with the ultimate aim of getting your own system adopted by the rest of the club.

I hope this gives you a feel for what the club has to offer – all I can say is – “What are you waiting for?... “

I have only been a member of Pro X Trading for a few weeks but i can honestly say that it is the best decision i have made in years. I have been using betfair for about 8 years and had made numerous half-hearted attempts to try and make consistent profits from the many so called "full-proof" systems that we all know are out there.

My belief that trading could offer me the lifestyle i wanted had almost disappeared until I read a book by a guy called Pete Nordsted who pointed me in the direction of Matt and Pro X Trading. At first i was dubious as i had wasted so much time and money in the past but i am so glad i took the chance and jumped on board the X Club.

The trading methods are relatively simple to understand once you have taken the time to get your head around them and the more you trade the more natural they become. I could not even put a price on these methods compared to some of the rubbish i have bought in the past. But it is the wealth of knowledge and help that is available from Matt and the members of the X-club that is the real bonus of being a member.

Trading is all about state of mind and learning from your mistakes and there is always someone on hand to offer advice and point you in the right direction.

I am not going to say that it is easy, but if you put in the time and effort you will get the rewards. I started with a small bank and have doubled it in 4 weeks trading football alone, i have not even looked at the many other strategies that there are for other sports yet. I guess you have to look at it as a marathon and not a sprint.

If someone with as many bad habits as i used to have can make it work then anyone can!

All i can say is get involved while you stiil can as there is quite simply nothing else that comes anywhere near this out there.

I started off on Betfair like most newcomers probably do with a relaxed and carefree attitude after doing some light reading on basic strategies for trading the football Markets. I was convinced that this was the easiest way of making money ever! However, I became so carefree and blasé that I started to trade on my mobile phone whilst out and about as I was convinced that I couldn't lose over the long term, but then came a much bigger loss than I'd anticipated and Man Utd were to blame! This severely dented my confidence and this This led me to the X Club.

I did some reading on the ProX Site and exchanged some questions with Matt over the course of a few weeks before taking the decision to join. I looked at the move as an investment for my education rather than a purchase of some magical tips that were going to make me instantly rich, and I haven't looked back since.

I felt at ease from the moment I joined in my first few trading room chats and was really happy with the friendliness of the traders in the room and how helpful they were, with Matt being the primary sources of information about the strategies but backed up by a number of other experienced pros and newcomers like myself.

Overall I'am loving every minute of being in the X Club and think I'm learning skills and the mindset that I can use for life. Dont get me wrong, successful trading isnt easy and 3 months into my education I am just starting to lay the foundations, I still have lots to learn but I think my progress has been good so far. When I have mastered football I might look at some other sports but for the time being I'm happy with that. My aim is to by the start of the 2010/11 football season is to be in a position where if I wanted to, I could work a four day week and I think I'm on the right track.
